Piero’s Lard

The poor cured product of old times is now a delicious, much sought after one.

In his old butcher shop Piero Santini used to select lard slices carefully, trim them, rub them and cover them with a herb mixture created by him, kept secret and only known to the Santini family.

After being flavoured and laid out in overlapping layers, the lard slices were matured in the house cellar.

Nowadays the same process, followed in our modern factory, gives us a product of inimitable taste.
